Reservation Policies
Reservations are required for all rides. Your credit card will be charged for 50% of your ride value. Payment for the remaining amount can be made the day of the ride by Visa, MasterCard, Debit or cash. If paying by credit card, please ensure you have your credit card present for swiping.
Reservations may be changed up to 24 hours in advance of the scheduled ride without penalty. Changes after this time will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
A $10 service charge will apply to all cancellations made 24 hours in advance.
Rides operate rain, shine or snow with last minute changes made for severe weather conditions only such as heavy rain, sleet, snow. Rescheduling (only) on the same day due to severe weather conditions may be made by calling us at 905-834-2380. Please note that the weather here may be quite different from the weather where you are. If unsure, please call and check.
All rides leave on time. In the event that you are late, you may forfeit your ride and your credit card will be charged the pre-authorized amount.
Galloping or Walk Only Rides
All regular group rides are walk and trot. If you desire galloping or a walk only ride, you need to reserve a private ror advanced ride.
Age Limits
Trail riders must be six years old and up for the one hour rides and 9 and up for the longer rides. . Six year olds are led by our guide so additional charges may apply if reserving for more than one six year old. Double riding is not permitted.
Weight Limits
We have a number of large horses that can accommodate riders of most sizes. Riders need to be able to fit into the saddle and be able to hold the horn in front for balance. Occasionally, we must turn away riders because their shape does not allow them to fit into the saddle safely.
Recommended Attire
Dress for the weather. Special equipment or clothing is NOT required. We supply ASTM approved horseback riding helmets and covered safety stirups. Bring your camera. Back packs are not permitted on the horses.
